The institution is self-managed, providing sound education and congenial boarding  at a reasonable cost. The school is co-educational and admits both boarders and day scholars.

 Emphasis is laid on ensuring high academic achievement, facilitating character building, inculcating discipline and encouraging sport. The school is run on strictly Christian principles, the basis being inter-denominational. A positive Christian upbringing is emphasized, but undue pressure of any kind is avoided.

The School Year  : The school follows the June-to-June system.

The Staff : The calling of the teaching and residential staff is to exercise the care of a parent to their pupils.

  The Curriculum : The school prepares children for further studies or training anywhere in India or abroad. The medium of instruction is English. The curriculum in the primary years is related to the child's natural development and is intended to provide a firm academic and co-curricular foundation.

Board Examinations : The High School prepares the children for the AISLC (Anglo-Indian School Leaving Certificate) Examination, which is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Higher Secondary prepares children for the Tamil Nadu Secondary State Board Examination. Both the above-mentioned examinations fall under the Directorate of School Education, Tamil Nadu.

Language Students may take either Tamil or Hindi as additional language. Private arrangement is to be made for the study of French.

Assessment Tests are held regularly and three terminal exams are conducted annually. Progress Reports are handed over to parents on the 'Open day'.

The promotion of pupils will depend upon their work and progress throughout the year as well as their performance in the annual examination.
