STANES WINS IQ-QUIZ-2010  

IQ-QUIZ was held on 30-01-10 at Green Valley Matriculation Hr. Sec. School, Kotagiri. It was jointly organized by Tamilnadu Science Forum(TNSF),Nilgiris and Lions Club of Kotagiri on the following topics: IQ Test, Science and Technology, Environment, National and International affairs and Sports.

Results:- In the High School division our school team with B.Titus of Std IX-A, R.Hrishikesh of Std IX-A and J.G. Abishek of Std IX-B placed Fourth .In the Higher secondary division,the Stanes team with Sherlyn Sheeba of Std XI-B, Gokul of Std XI-B and R. Roshan of Std XI-AB took part and won the First place and received medals.

Environment Awareness Quiz

The Stanes NGC Quiz team was placed 2nd among 40 schools.The National Green Corps (NGC) organization , the Nilgris, conducted an Environment Awareness Quiz Competition at the Government Higher secondary School ,Ooty,on Saturday ,the 6th February.

Two students of class XI-B, Gokul.B and Sheryl Sheeba represented Stanes school team and were placed 2nd among 40 schools .They received certificates and a shield.
